Pixel Art

It all started with lusciously grid-pressed paper from Case For Making. The neat squares scratched my brain in a most pleasing way- reminding me of my favorite 8, 16, and 32 bit games. Combining pixels with the beautiful textures and washes of watercolor and gouache makes something wholly new and fun!

I have originals and limited run prints in the shop from time to time.

And of course, in addition to painting my favorite video game characters, I love painting our cats (and maybe yours, too?)
